ArtistPress Artist Settings
The artist settings control the display of the content on the ArtistPress Artist page. These settings affect all artist shortcodes and artist page templates.
Artist Name
The Artist Name setting controls whether the artist’s name is displayed on the artist page. If this setting is set to Yes, the artist name is displayed. If this setting is set to No the artist name is hidden. This setting defaults to Yes.
Phone Number
The Phone Number setting controls whether the artist’s phone number is displayed on the artist page. If this setting is set to Yes, the artist phone number is displayed. If this setting is set to No the artist phone number is hidden. This setting defaults to Yes.
Link Phone Number
The Link Phone Number setting controls whether the artist’s phone number is displayed as a link. When the phone number is displayed as a link, a user can tap the link on a mobile device to call the artist. If this setting is set to Yes, the artist phone number is displayed as a link. If this setting is set to No the artist phone number is not linked. This setting defaults to No.
Show Email
The Show Email setting controls whether the artist’s email is displayed on the artist page. If this setting is set to Yes, the artist’s email address is displayed. If this setting is set to No the artist’s email address is hidden. This setting defaults to Yes.
Show Website
The Show Website setting controls whether the artist’s website is displayed on the artist page. If this setting is set to Yes, the artist’s website is displayed. If this setting is set to No the artist’s website is hidden. This setting defaults to Yes.
Show Bio
The Show Bio setting controls whether the artist’s biography is displayed on the artist page. If this setting is set to Yes, the artist’s bio is displayed. If this setting is set to No the artist’s bio is hidden. This setting defaults to Yes.
Artist Default Stylesheet
The Artist Default Stylesheet setting controls whether the built-in stylesheet is used to display the artist bio page. This setting defaults to Yes. If you are familiar with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and you would like to customize the way the artist bio page is displayed, please feel free to turn off the default stylesheet.
Use Templates for Artists
The Use Templates for Artists setting controls whether the built-in shortcodes are used to display artist bio page. This setting defaults to Use Shortcode. If your are familiar with the HTML, PHP and the WordPress Template Hiararchy, and you would like to customize the markup of the artist bio page, please feel free to change this setting to Use Built-In Template and create your own custom template for ArtistPress Artist Page. (This is recommended for developer use only.)
