ArtistPress Show List Settings

The show list settings control the display of the content on the ArtistPress Show List page. These settings affect all show list shortcodes and show list page templates.

Show List Display

The Show List Display setting controls the display order of the shows in the show list.  The options are Order By Artist, Order By Date, or Order By Venue.

Artist Name

The Artist Name setting controls whether the artist’s name is displayed in the list of shows. If this setting is set to Yes, the artist name is displayed. If this setting is set to No the artist name is hidden. This setting defaults to Yes.

Please note that if the Show List Display setting is set to the By Artist option, the Artist Name setting has no effect on the show list.

Venue Name

The Venue Name setting controls whether the venue’s name is displayed in the list of shows. If this setting is set to Yes, the venue name is displayed. If this setting is set to No the venue name is hidden. This setting defaults to Yes.

Please note that if the Show List Display setting is set to the By Venue option, the Venue Name setting has no effect on the show list.

Ticket Button

The Ticket Button setting controls whether there is a button to get tickets displayed in the list of shows. If this setting is set to Yes, a button is displayed. If this setting is set to No the button is hidden. This setting defaults to Yes.

Ticket Button Label

The Ticket Button Label setting provides a way to override the text on the button to get tickets.  Enter the text you would like to apear on the button into this field. This setting defaults to Get Tickets.

Please note that this setting affects the button on both the list and the individual show pages.

More Info Button

The More Info Button setting controls whether there is a button to get more information about the show displayed in the list of shows. If this setting is set to Yes, a button is displayed. If this setting is set to No the button is hidden. This setting defaults to Yes.

More Info Button Label

The More Info Button Label setting provides a way to override the text on the more info button.  Enter the text you would like to apear on the button into this field. This setting defaults to Additional Info.

Please note that this setting affects the button on both the list and the individual show pages.

Calendar Default Stylesheet

The Calendar Default Stylesheet setting controls whether the built-in stylesheet is used to display the show list page. This setting defaults to Yes. If you are familiar with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and you would like to customize the way the show list page is displayed, please feel free to turn off the default stylesheet.

Use Templates for Shows

The Use Templates for Shows setting controls whether the built-in shortcodes are used to display the show list page. This setting defaults to Use Shortcode. If your are familiar with the HTML, PHP and the WordPress Template Hiararchy, and you would like to customize the markup of the show list page, please feel free to change this setting to Use Built-In Template and create your own custom template for Show List Page.  (This is recommended for developer use only.)
